Christians Bashing Christians

by Edward

I was on twitter today just chatting with some new friends when I received a tweet from a LadyBeryl. She looked like a nice young women from what I could see in her Twitter avatar but when I read her message to me that first opinion I had of her quickly faded away.

She sent me the following tweet:

Your profile says U R Christian. Spending more energy praying for President than criticizing him is Christian behavior.

This was my reply:

I do not judge the President but I can disagree, unlike you who judge me. Matt 7:1 Judge not, that you be not judged.

Then I got hit with this Tweet from Her:

Please read rest of the verse — I welcome the judgment. You? God is love. Your avatar is not of love and therefore not of God.

OMG now she is attacking my twitter avatar because it is not “of God”!

I should have blocked her account right away as I knew I was dealing with one of those people who are always better then you. But the nerve of her calling me out on my Christianity, I know I am a bit rough as this blog clearly states but to randomly attack people because they do not measure up to your idea of being a Christian is just terrible!

After a bit of back and forth with her I could see that holier than thou attitude she had was not going to go away, I told her to go get a decaf and I will keep her in my prayers, praying that she will learn to play better with others. Then unfortunately as seeing no other choice I blocked her account.

I really wish we could have come to an understanding but sometimes no matter who you are talking to, no matter what their faith is you know you are arguing with idiots! OMG! that is the title of Glenn Becks new book, “Arguing with Idiots

Yea I know what you’re thinking, rough.

You left out these:
# @NYPDretCOP: Just pray that God has his good and perfect will. I will pray that He does the same for you. That is the Christian way.
# @NYPDretCOP: Christians should pray for our President not depict him in evil ways. I disagreed with Bush who did wrong but prayed 4 him.

I am a Christian and will do the will of God. Jesus told us to pray that his will be done. I stand by my communication and have prayed that God work perfection in you. I pray that you will do the same for me.

Oh God she found me!

So let me get this straight You can say Bush was wrong and be a good Christian but I can not criticize Barack Obama and be a good Christian and my Avatar is ungodly?

I do pray that Obama changes his evil ways and thank you for your prayers, you can be assured I will indeed pray that God works perfection in you, you can bank on that!

I just wonder why you picked me to attack today on twitter do you attack Liberals also or just Conservative Christians? Oh and sorry I use the same ungodly avatar here also!

I just came in from the back deck, I was sitting out there chatting to the Father as I do most nights. I love to be outside under the stars when I pray.

It came to me that I owe LadyBeryl an apology. When she first messaged me I took it as an attack, this is my flaw as I was not blessed with much patients and tend to go on the offensive quickly.

During my prayers tonight I asked the Father about what took place today, and I was given the answer. LadyBeryl is young and may still need the knowledge that can only come with time.

I still need to try and control myself when I perceive that I am being attacked or singled out, this has always been a problem for me.

LadyBeryl has made another post filled with bible verses that I have not published I feel this has gotten out of hand and must end now.

I failed her, as an older Christian, I should have tried to explain to her what caused me to go into such a defensive mode so she could learn from our encounter.

Remember when you contact a person, that you really do not know, and start off with what could be perceived as a verbal bashing even though you think you are correct it can lead into a bad first contact.

Nuff said on the subject.
